Johnson & Johnson MedTech’s Shockwave Medical has launched its Javelin Peripheral IVL Catheter in the US for peripheral artery disease (PAD). This new intravascular lithotripsy (IVL) platform is engineered to modify calcium and navigate “extremely” narrowed vessels in individuals with this disease.
